Engine Featuring the brand new revised YX160 engine with beefed up crank cases, needle roller gearbox bearings the oil spinner has been replaced with a filter and our all new lightweight flywheel ignition system added (no more broken spinners or crank cases). The optional YX 4-valve head conversion will see power outputs around 20hp, in stock form 16hp at the rear wheel is still plenty to scare the living daylights out the unsuspecting. The latest revised (improved casting) Molkt 26mm carb supplies the juice and the air is cleaned by UNI as standard. The exhaust is lightweight stainless steel mandrill bent, and features our stylish new alloy muffler with tapered exit to help keep the noise down.

Chassis Completely new twin spar, dual material frame (chromo and 6061 alloy).

Pro Link The Stomp pro-link swing arm linkage has been designed to get the maximum suspension travel without using long and heavy high poundage springs. It delivers massive progressive suspension travel with just a 350lbs spring. This means the DNM shock does not have to work so hard in rebound damping which allows for finer tuning, a cooler operation and more consistent and durable operation. The link is designed to allow maximum hook up coming out of burms, yet progressively stiff enough to cope with very heavy landings without bottoming out.

Rims 7071 heat-treated alloy rims produced by the same factory that make excel. Finished in brushed plain anodise and laced via stainless steel double butted spokes to lightweight pressure di-cast alloy hubs. Check the competition; many are still using steel rims which are VERY heavy and ugly, that’s because these babies are seriously expensive to put on a production bike, but we have done it.
