1     Products and services descriptions

1.1   The Motorcycle Outlet endeavour to ensure all products and services are described accurately and/or as per manufactures descriptions.  This also includes verbal and email descriptions.

1.2   Individual product descriptions, prices, specifications, colours, deals, accessories etc are all subject to change via the manufacturer without prior notice however The Motorcycle Outlet will again endeavour to notify and or update where necessary.

1.3   All images used are used with permission from manufacturers and further replication will be subject to manufacturer’s permission.

1.4   All goods are supplied for a dedicated purpose as described and The Motorcycle Outlet cannot be held responsible for any problems arising from any modification or misuse.

1.5   All prices list by The Motorcycle Outlet include VAT at the prevailing rate.

 

2         Mode of payment

2.1   The Motorcycle Outlet will accept the following methods of payments with surcharges applying, debit card, cheque, bank transfer and cash.

2.2   The Motorcycle Outlet will accept the following methods of payment but with surcharges as listed, Credit card 2% and Paypal 3%. Sorry Amex not accept.

2.3   Title of goods will not pass to the purchase until the goods are paid for in full.

2.4   The Motorcycle Outlet only accepts payments in pounds sterling ‘£’.

 

3         Quality and use of products and services

3.1   The Motorcycle Outlet endeavour to ensure that all products and services are of a high quality.  However we are governed by the manufacturer’s ability to provide the level of quality of product and at times this might be beyond our control.

3.2   No Product or service will be knowingly supplied by The Motorcycle Outlet in an unsatisfactory condition. Occasionally products will be supplied direct from manufacturer and it will beyond the control of The Motorcycle Outlet.

3.3   The Motorcycle Outlet will make every effort to ensure the purpose of the product is as advertised.

3.4   Products and services supplied by The Motorcycle Outlet must at all times be used in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instructions, please read carefully before use.

3.5   It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the correct parts are ordered irrelevant of information supplied by The Motorcycle Outlet.

 

4         Terms of delivery

4.1   Goods ordered via online, email or phone will be dispatched to address supplied unless prior agreement is made.

4.2   Goods will only be dispatched to card holder’s address unless agreement is made.

4.3   All motorcycles and scooters are for collection from our shop address unless prior agreement is made.

4.4   Any vehicle delivered by us are done so on the understanding that normal warranty terms apply and all warranty work is subject to vehicles being returned to our address at customers expense.

 

5         Returns

5.1   The Motorcycle Outlet are to informed by writing (above address) or by email (sales@themotorcycleoutlet.co.uk) within 7 days of faults with any products supplied.

5.2   Goods (not vehicles) returned for exchange must be in as new condition and are returned subject to buyer’s expense.

5.3   Any exchanged goods (not vehicles) will be subject to reposting charges.

 

6         Special order items

6.1   All special order items are subject to payment in advance.

6.2   Should The Motorcycle Outlet agree cancellation or returns of special order items are subject to a 30% charge.

 

7         Warranties

7.1   New vehicle warranties supplied by The Motorcycle Outlet are subject to manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions. Please treat the manufacturer’s warranty supplied with the vehicle as the warranty applied by The Motorcycle Outlet. Please note that service intervals must be adhered to comply with warranty terms.

7.2   Manufacturer’s warranties are subject to regular servicing according to manufacturer’s instructions being carried out at The Motorcycle Outlet. Some manufacturers will allow service work to be carried out at other authorised service dealers.

7.3   New Vehicle warranties vary between manufacturers from 12months to 36months.

7.4   All warranties are subject to the vehicle being returned to The Motorcycle Outlet and The Motorcycle Outlet is not liable for any cost involved in returning the vehicle.

 

8         Defective goods

8.1   The Motorcycle Outlet will not be liable to any loss resulting from defective goods. Defective goods are subject to individual manufacturers warranties.

8.2   Warranty work will be carried out subject to manufacturer’s warranties.

 

9         Agreement

9.1   By purchasing from our website and/or signing this agreement on purchasing a vehicle from us you are entering an agreement whereby you are accepting the terms and conditions as stated.
